On September 8, 2006, FWAHU hosted a 2-hour event called “Healthcare Consumer Day.”
Written and directed by Sharon Alt and Eric Johnson, this event featured several skits on health insurance. Following each skit, a guest speaker addressed the crowd.

- Consumerism & Price Transparency
- Long-Term Care
Our guest speakers were Paula Wilson, Jenny Fowler, and Congressman Michael Burgess. Mark Bellman from Austin emceed the event.
Over 200 attendees attended this one-of-a-kind event that’s sure to be talked about for years.
