I have really enjoyed my time in the group insurance industry. The people you meet and interact with have strong values, purpose, integrity, and a passion for helping other people be better prepared for the future. I hope that my time at FWAHU would be spent developing strong partnerships with brokers while continuing to equip myself and others with new trends and ideas for our industry.
Rachael Alt O’Reilly has been with Alt Bentley Yates, Inc. (formerly known as Alt Benefit Consultants, Inc.) for more than 4 years. Rachael decided to join FWAHU to follow in her mother’s footsteps, and become more involved in the industry. This way she will be better equipped to educate her clients and help simplify their plan administration.
Sue recently joined FWAHU to network and share information relating to the newly enacted health care reform legislation. She supports NAHU and FWAHU in their efforts to protect agents roles in the insurance distribution system.
Susan began her career with a strong background in accounting, gaining work experience at a major oil company, a CPA firm, and a software firm. In 1995, she began working part-time at her husband’s insurance firm helping him enter the computer age, and transition to a paperless system. What started as a part time position working with computers, grew to a full time career for 15 years.
Tony Dillard was working for Sparklett’s Drinking Water in 1996 as new account sales representative. During a routine sales call in the downtown area of Wichita Falls he was asked if he wanted to interview for a sales position while he was there. Tony said yes and after the interview he was offered a job on the spot as a captive long-term care insurance specialist.
New Member Beth Stevens began her insurance career in 1999 working with life insurance and individual and group health. In her own words, this was before she found her passion working with seniors and moved into the Medicare industry segment in 2004.
New FWAHU member Lorraine Tune began her career in the insurance industry in 2004, with Martin Insurance Group out of San Antonio, TX. In 2007, she met her husband, Michael, and moved to Garland , TX , where after a short time she found a role on the GA side of our industry. Currently, she works as a marketing representative for Foster Benefit Resources.
FWAHU would like to extend a warm welcome to Stephen Scasta. Stephen joined our chapter in January. He has been working in the HSA industry with Wells Fargo Health Benefit Services for the last year and a half.
