Please join us as TAHU’s own lobbyist and legislative expert Lee Manross presents “From Spectator to Participant at the Legislative” 1 hour CE (Provider # 32408, Course # 21681).  In his presentation, Lee will be discussing the ins and outs of the Texas legislative process and  of speaking to your local and national legislators about current issues for our industry.  Come join us in learning to better communicate your positions within the legislative process! Following the meeting, Ron Byrd, of Companion Dental, will present a 1 hour CE, “Dental: Don’t get caught with your toothbrush down” (Provider # 32408, CE # Pending).

While you are out and about, don’t forget to pick up some school supplies to bring to the September Membership Meeting!  FWAHU will be hosting a school supply drive to support families in transition/homeless children within Arlington Independent School District!

A quick note on membership luncheon pricing: Because we value your membership, FWAHU does its best to keep membership luncheon pricing costs as low as possible.  Due to increased luncheon/facility fees, we will need to increase the pricing by $5 for a total of $30 for Members and $40 for Non-members in the 2015-2016 year.  We hope you understand this need and we look forward to seeing you at the next meeting!

Here’s What you Missed Last Month!

In August, FWAHU hosted our annual Individual and Senior Sales Symposium with a focus on Kicking-Off the year right with sales and football.  Attendees donned their favorite team colors and learned about the ins and outs of the Individual and Senior sales markets while earning 5-hours of CE including 2-hours of the always needed ethics!
